Lombok is an Indonesian island that was struck by a series of devastating earthquakes this past summer. Our head brewer, Greg, had visited the island days before an earthquake, so he wanted to do something special for the recovering citizens of Lombok. Proceeds will benefit the Indonesian Red Cross Society.

King of Lombok is centered around a robust coffee addition, locally roasted by Burlap and Bean Roast House. They provided a select Espresso blend, Papa New Guinean, and Indonesian Sumatran that make this beer taste like drinking a fresh cup of coffee, all in stout form. A huge malt bill with plenty of roasted and toasted specialty malts add color and a rich black treacle thickness.
