The Duke is a deep straw colored strong ale brewed with 100% Belgian malt. The designation “Abbaye” originally applied to Monastic brews made by Monks, so we used our house Belgian Trappist Yeast to bring to light subtle tones of plum and apricot during fermentation, balanced by a delicate use of Noble hops. White wine lovers will savor this traditional and royal Duke Tripel

The first plough of spring brings sweet premonitions of flora soon to bloom. Opaque in appearance, the firm malt body is permafrost beneath zephyrs of hop aromatics. Citra, Amarillo, and Azacca (named after the Haitian Loa of agriculture) unearth honeysuckle sweetness, frosted pine, altogether edging towards citrus. A cold glass of Spring Till… ‘till spring comes.
